Join me on this beautiful Loray Mill Wedding at the Loray Mill Event Hall in Gastonia NC. I love the industrial building and surroundings of this venue, it always makes for gorgeous images. Today’s special day belonged to Hannah and Justin. I started the day by doing what I always do and thats getting details. I always try and use as much of my surroundings and structures that belong to the venue to capture my details shots. I don’t like to bring matts and props for flat lays and details, I prefer to shoot the details with elements of the venue.
Next up on this Loray Mill wedding is to shoot some getting ready pictures. I always like to get some shots of hair and makeup and the girls hanging out. The Loray Mill Event Hall has some really cool areas on the top floor that we utilized for the girls in their robes and Hannah getting into her dress. I think its important to get images from all over the venue to spice it up and get some different backgrounds in your pictures.
The ceremony for this Loray Mill Wedding was gorgeous. I love the Loray Mill Event Hall because they have many different spaces you can pick from to have your ceremony. It’s nice that they have so many options. After the ceremony we shot some bride and groom pictures around the venue spaces. My bride and groom are also huge baseball fans and just across the street there was a Gastonia Honey Hunters game going on. It just so happens one of the owners of the team was at our venue and allowed us to run by and grab some special pictures that I’m sure Justin and Hannah will never forget.
