St. Augustine Wedding Photographer

Weddings

As a St. Augustine wedding photographer, I always enjoy shooting at historic places like I did for this wedding at The Oldest House. Shooting in St. Augustine as a Florida wedding photographer is such a joy. There is so much beautiful architecture and history to shoot around in the city. I would say of all the places to be in Florida for a wedding, I really enjoy Miami, Naples, and St. Augustines the most. Being a Florida wedding photographer has its perks with us being in tropical environments a lot. Lets dive in on this wedding day in particular.

As with any wedding day, I started out shooting wedding details and the bridal party getting ready. You can’t be a good wedding photographer if you don’t shoot your details around the beautiful scenery that the city has to offer. The ceremony took place at The Oldest House but they got ready in an air bnb. After everyone was dressed and ready to go, we all boarded transfer busses and took off for The Oldest House.

If you are a St. Augustine wedding photographer you need to be prepared for rain. It rained on and off through the ceremony, thankfully I have weather sealed equipment. The bride and groom, and their family members all had clear umbrellas which looked cute in the photos. The people working at The Oldest House provided the umbrellas and were very sweet to everyone. Once the ceremony ended, we all hopped on a trolly and toured the sights of St. Augustine, while hopping off here and there for bride and groom portraits.

As a St. Augustine wedding photographer and Florida wedding photographer, I can’t wait to get back down to The Oldest House to shoot another wedding there. It was so much fun.
