As a Separk Mansion wedding photographer, I love to get down here and shoot in the checkered room. The mansion is such a gorgeous venue and has so many beautiful places to shoot. The inside is gorgeous and they have multiple green courtyards outside. I’ve been down there to shoot multiple weddings now and have shot the ceremonies inside and outside. Both locations served as an amazing backdrop for my bride and grooms weddings.
This day started like all wedding days, getting details. There are so many awesome places to place your details at a Separk Mansion wedding. For the dress there was a great mirror in the bridal getting ready room, and for the remaining details I found a bunch of hotspots on the stairs to place them for contrast. After the details, I hung out with the ladies to get some getting ready and hair and makeup photos.
A Separk Mansion wedding wouldn’t be complete without getting some shots of the groom and groomsmen hanging out. From there I did bridal and groom portraits, then it was time for the ceremony. After the ceremony, we had bride and groom portraits. I used a good deal of off camera flash for these photos. I exposed for the sky and popped my couples with some light. We then had the reception and lots of fun dancing all night long.
