I couldn’t have been more excited than when I was contacted to do a NoDa Brewery engagement shoot. NoDa Brewery is in my opinion the best brewery in Charlotte. You can check out all their beers here, my favorite is the Monstro. Their pumpkin beer is amazing as well. Before we kicked off on our shoot, we shared some beer together and then it was time to have fun.
I started the shoot in the tap room. I like getting some detailed shots of the environment to truly set the scene for the pictures. So you will see I mad it a point to capture the tables, the brick walls and industrial windows and things like that. And of course it wouldn’t be a NoDa Brewery engagement shoot without beer so I included that in the shots as well.
After the tap room we went outside. It was a little rainy but nothing crazy that would be able to keep us down. I love the pictures of them dancing. This is something they started doing all on their own when I was getting set up, so with my cat like reflexes I managed to snag a few. The front wall of the brewery has some beautiful art work and we managed to capture that in a fun shot of the couple jumping. That shot concluded the NoDa Brewery engagement shoot.
We didn’t stop shooting there though, I took the couple to a parking deck downtown Charlotte and we got a few more fun shots.
